Backyard Banter

They're back! We gave these fellows away several weeks ago to someone who lost half of their flock. We suspected they were roosters at the time, but since they were "Mystery Chickens" we didn't know for sure. Well they're definitely roos and they came back to us much noisier than they were when they left!

In addition to their crowing, they've been causing quite a ruckus and providing us with a lot of entertainment. Girlie didn't take too kindly to them showing up on on her his scene. (Did I fail to mention before that Girlie definitely is not a girl despite whatever indicators we thought we saw?)

Great story of sounds in photography! Yes, I understand. We have two Silver Laced Polish we named Elvis and Priscilla. We have since come to realize Priscilla is also a rooster and have change his name to Presley!

Those are great shots. The first is my favorite, looks like he is letting it rip. Nice job.
