Five and One Makes Six

The Baby

Another little wave
Upon the sea of life;
Another soul to save,
Amid the toil and strife.
Two more little feet
To walk the dusty road;
To choose where two paths meet,
The narrow and the broad.

Two more little hands,
To work for good or ill;
Two more little eyes;
Another little will;
Another heart to love,
Receiving love again;
And so the baby came,
A thing of joy and pain.

Was it too subtle? ;D

Thank you so much- Unfortunately, I believe that to be the kindest response I've had to my news thus far.

Thank you Emily Elizabeth! Your prayers would mean the world to me :)

Thanks Mosey!

I have a guess, but that's all it can be because I'm still nursing Benjamin. If I match up my first positive test (which is an early one, I can feel when I'm pregnant very early- I'm weird, it was a twinge in my stomach coinciding with the need for a nap) with when I felt like I was 6 weeks along, it puts me sometime in May.

CONGRATULATIONS.... And yes, that was a bit subtle... you think, she must be, but maybe she is just reflecting upon her little ones! I wish I was there to give you a big hug!! Babies are always a blessing and I think you have found a place where you will only here joyous responses about it! Isn't blogging fabulous that way!! So excited for you and thanks for sharing your news with us all. It is an honor!

I always know very early on, too. I am one of those people that can feel the teeniest of ovulation pains and then, the tiny little ligament twinges when the uterus starts to stretch and grow for that new baby. Blessings to your growing family.
